This song was co-written by Paul Baloche and Michael W. Smith. Both of them recorded separate versions.
I was discussing with a friend which version we liked better. My friend absolutely loves Michael’s work quite a bit…to the point that it is scary, so it was obvious that he would go for Michael W.’s version which, when recorded with 20,000 people, does sound impressive

On the other hand, I like Paul Baloche’s version…which is simpler (you don’t need 30 people to pull it off live) and sometimes that’s good it just feels more honest for some reason.
Michael W. Smith had an African Children’s Choir, but I’m partial to Baloche’s version although both are great worship leaders for sure!
