It’s come to take over our lives, and that is sad. Social networks were originally designed to bring people together, but it seems as though we’re being driven apart from one another. Everyone is somehow so much more busy (looking at Facebook photos) than they used to be. Friends don’t hang out nearly as much as they used to. What happened to Slide Show parties after someone got home from a trip? Have we lost a little something here? I think so. Social networking is making us anti-social as we spiral into our own little worlds, simply satisfied with the virtual emulations of our so called friends. It consumes us, slowly but surely.
