Is Standard Time Really All That Standard Anymore?

Over the last few years the time of year that we’ve changed our clocks back has gone further back. It used to be that one would “Spring Forward” in the first week of April and “Fall Back” in the third or fourth week of October. Now we “Spring Forward” in March and “Fall Back” in the first weekend in November.
That is over 6 months of the year in Daylight Savings Time. I’m not denying the benefits…there are many! Perhaps they should come up with a new name for Standard (which is becoming not so standard) Time.

Just a thought to ponder!
