I hope he’s sorry now.

Shelbyville – A man in the state of Tennessee has been sentenced to 27 years in prison for killing his infant son because he bothered him during his video game.
Nineteen-year-old Andrew Keith Johnston pleaded guilty on Monday to second-degree murder in the October 2010 death of his 1-month-old son William.
Assistant District Attorney Mike Randles said Johnston gave a written statement saying he became irritated when the infant was crying in his bassinet, interfering with Johnston’s playing of video games, The Shelbyville Times-Gazette reports.
The boy suffered a brain haemorrhage and died of his injuries at a hospital a week later. An autopsy report said he died of “non-accidental trauma”.
The prosecutor says Johnston said he squeezed the boy hard and shook him.

Who kills their own kid over a video game?  Was it really that important that he had to kill his own son?  Some poeple take Call of Duty way too seriously.  He could have paused the game and gone and checked on his kid…but no, he had to squeeze and shake him.  This guy was obviously not paying attention in his before birth class…I doubt he even went…he was probably too busy playing video games to bother going.  If he had gone, he would have known not to shake and squeeze his 1 month old son.   He shouldn’t even have been having kids in the first place if that’s how he was going to treat them.  27 years for murdering your own kid.  By the time he gets out of prison he’ll still be able to have more kids if he wants to (He’ll be 46 by then)…that is if any woman will let him after hearing about this story.  If he does get to have more kids, hopefully he treats them much better than he did his first.
