Tony Stewart picks up his fifth win of the season…enough to tie him in points with Carl Edwards…and since Stewart has more wins…he also becomes the 2011 Sprint Cup Champion. (It is the first time in series history that they have had to resort to a points tie breaker.) Tony Stewart has now won that title three times. 2002, 2005, and now in 2011. A good run for Stewart for sure.
