COVID 19: January 2, 2021

It’s still here. It’ll be here forever.  It’s time to accept that.  I haven’t written on this subject for quite some time, but it doesn’t mean it’s gone away.  Cases are very low where I am, which is a good thing.  I continue to be healthy.  The Atlantic Bubble is a bust.  Each to their own province now.  Who knows how long that will last?  It looks like there will be a snowstorm tomorrw.  2021 is not as impressive as I thought it might be.

The news of several vaccine options is a good thing for sure, but it’ll be a long haul before COVID sorts itself out even with those.  People are getting antsy around here.  I went grocery shopping today, just before the storm.  Nobody wants to follow the arrows anymore.  Masks are all good, but they want to walk where they will walk.  Like a bunch of impatient folks who have Amazon Prime.  Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but I constantly found myself being in the way of someone, and that was not so great.

2021 has brought with it a new sort of tension with the new, more infectious  COVID variant.  As if there wasn’t enough to keep track of.  I can’t tell the difference between the two.  I’m sure I don’t want to catch either of them.  So far so good.  Time is flying by so much faster than I ever expected it would.  It’s Saturday night, maybe I’ll watch a movie.  I just thought I’d give a little update since I hadn’t written in this series for a while.
