I wonder who is benefiting from this whole situation. Obviously there are the people who hoard large amounts of supplies to re sell at ridiculous prices, assuming they make it through this thing, but it also appears, judging from what I’ve read, that anyone who might possibly be able to do anything about it seems to have given up, aside from hospital workers, and grocery store staff. They will both be the heroes of this thing if it ever ends. With a vaccine more than a year away, it doesn’t seem like that end will come soon. Also, what about the economy. Will we really be able to pick up where we left off? Money isn’t everything, and it is not to be trusted, but aren’t we supposed to be good stewards of what we have? Speaking of being good stewards, why is the panic buying still happening? If everyone just bought their normal amount of stuff, there would be enough to go around without fear, like any prevously normal time out at the grocery store. We are not animals. Remember that.
It’s been nice to hear news of lots of recoveries in the main stream media. I know that there is a long way to go in this thing, but it’s a nice change of direction instead of being totally negative all the time. That being said, I understand that lots of people have not had the kinds of positive outcomes that folks are talking about today on the other side of my country.
