All this to say, you can see why there would be so much tension over this. So much of a need to be right. They’re willing to do whatever it takes. Even genocide. Genocide doesn’t solve anything. They will never be convinced. They will never sit down to a pot luck and work on their differences. Nobody likes the way I solve problems. I don’t know how else to fix this one. There’s no need to drag this series on longer than it has to.
What we can do is pray about it. Work toward peace even if people don’t want it for whatever reason. There can be peace in that part of the world. More impossible things have happened.
