What happened to Montreal? Seriously! They were playing so well on Tuesday. All they had to do was keep playing and dominating like they were before, but there was way too much sloppy play in their own zone. You can’t win when you collapse on the goalie like that.
Michel Therrien did an excellent job coaching them this year. If the habs blame him for their loss in this series, then that would not be the right thing to do. He should not be fired…if it comes down to that.
There was a lack of speed in the entire series…except Game 5 when the Rangers were slow.
You can’t win games when you’re slow and in your own zone.
Hopefully Montreal will learn from this experience and come back next year and dominate.
