400 years have passed since Israel settled in Egypt under the protection of Joseph. Oral tradition would have been passed down, but that only does so much when it’s hard to see past your new circumstances, with a completely new group of people on the scene. There’s a new Pharoah in town. He is not as nice as the previous one that was talked about. Living conditions are much different to say the least. Any normal person would say that the Israelites had to get out of there. The question is, how? Let’s find out together. God is God forever. He always has a plan. This new crop of people needs to get that through their heads. An unlikely hero emerges.
