IIWAC PAUSE: We Need To Check The Map

We will be leaving the A Plot once again now that Solomon has passed on.  There are a few things we need to take a look at.  Since we have just recently discussed Solomon’s wives, I beleve the most logical way forward is to discuss Song of Songs (Song of Solomon) first, if nothing more than to get it over with.  “Why would he want to get it over with?’  My answer is… you’ll see.  Then we can look at the book of Ecclesiastes, and after that, the book of Proverbs.  Then we will have discussed everything that involves Solomon, before we can pick up the “main story” with his son Rehoboam as king.   Let’s keep this ride going.

PS. Those of you who have read this, will realize that I already started the Rehoboam story and recinded that post until such time as it makes sense chronologically.  I can’t skip these books, they are part of the Bible and if we are following along chronologically, this is where we would go next before diving back into our double header of 2 Chronicles and 1 Kings.
