November is not my favourite month of the year. It’s that transition month between the time where the leaves on the trees have really cool colours (even though they are dying) and the time of total death of tree leaves. It also gets colder…which is not overly fun. Perhaps this is what TS Elliot was refering to when he coined the term “Zero summer.”
Also if you are in University there are papers to write! …the fun never stops… Mondays in November make things even more crazy sometimes. Having to get up early after a stellar weekend.
“…Mondays are the beginnign of a long week of drugery with no end in sight…”
(Garfield the Cat)
A word of encouragement:
12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 3:12-14 (NIV)
For those of you who feel like this will be the longest week of your lives…Press on…the weekend is coming!
For those of you who are sick of the idea of Winter before it even shows up…Spring is coming as well!
