Movie Review: Braveheart

A lot of Christian men (none who have personally influenced me) really like this film.
I thought they wouldn’t swear in the 1300s. They totally swear in the 1300s
I had to pause and research things. Not quite as much as other movies though.
Robert The Bruce is an idiot for abandoning William Wallace when he needed him most. He totally didn’t deserve the sequel he got…which I also watched immediately after this one.
Right of First Night is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard of. I’m not even going to explain it here so that I don’t give anyone any ideas. The guy who was bragging about it probably deserved the consequences that befell him. I’m not even into murder, but I can see why the boys decided to do that.
Fight scenes are boring. Except the part where they mooned everyone. Not that I like seeing that either, but it was something out of the ordinary.
They totally killed his wife for no reason. If a woman doesn’t want to have sex with you, it’s not her fault.
They could have done the fights in actual places where they happened. Like if a fight happened in a narrow bridge, you probably should film it there instead of a field.
If William Wallace really loved his wife, he shouldn’t have slept with that other lady.
Good use of time.
Not sure how “Christian” this movie is though. It was obvious that they were Catholics on the surface, because they did the cross thing I never do, since I don’t go to a Catholic Church.
