Movie 2 in my chronological journey through Avengers movies, and surprise, it’s from 2008. Incredible Hulk. Having seen most of the series multiple times, Hulk is the worst movie of the bunch for me. A classic example of the voices being too quiet for the music. Everyone loves Liv Tyler’s whisper. “I choose a mortal life!” There’s plenty more of that here. It’s the shortest run time because there’s not much story to go by. Another example where they didn’t have a clear bad guy, so they had to make one up in the last 20 minutes. He didn’t need to fight Hulk. He could have stuck to painting or some other constructive hobby. Te one thing this movie does is it makes people think twice before drinking pop. I still drink pop during those scenes anyway, so I’m not sure if it helped me. Also, great tourism ad for British Columbia near the end.
