This is a story of George Bailey, son of a Loan Insurance person named Peter, who always made sure his clients could afford their mortgages. Mr. Potter just wanted to make money off of everyone. George always put other people ahead of himself. Saving his little brother in the ice and sacrificing his ear. He followed in his father’s footsteps and kept the business going, giving his college money to his brother who had fallen in the ice so that he could go do great things in World War 2. He finally marries Mary, and gives away all their honeymoon money, except $2 to save the business. After this he misappropriates $8,000 and wishes that he had never been born. HIs guardian angel Clarence makes it happen. Anything for him to get his wings, right? George has sudden family problems because of this. Nobody remembers him. Clarence reminds him that he’s really had a wonderful life that has affected so many people. George gets his life back, and all of his friends that he helped over time returned the favour and George got his money back.
