Movie Review: Mufasa
- Classy to remember James Earl Jones.
- A new opening song.
- Similar opening sequence.
- Does CGI make it better?
- It’s not terrible.
- It is freakishly life like
- They kep Pride Rock the same
- Starting off with Simba as an adult. Kind of confusing.
- At least they didn’t force Matthew Broderick to play him again
- Classic instrumental songs
- Kiera, Timon and Pumbaa are around too.
- No Mufasa yet.
- This is like Lion King II
- Kiera is a kid again.
- This is softer than the 90s versions
- Recapping Scar’s death from Lion King I
- Simba is a pathological liar

- Rafiki is going to tell the story of Mufasa
- Mufasa the unlikely king comes out of the desert
- Mufasa as a kid is interesting.

- Rafiki says that Mufasa was carried away from his mother and father by the river, but not that they had died.
- Now Mufasa is in a fertile land instead of a desert.
- Taka does the whole Scar thing, but then he saves him instead. Similar to climbing up the gorge, but a much better outcome.
- Mufasa gets adopted into another lion family. This would never happen in real life.
- The nap of kings.
- Mufasa is an outsider to the pride land.
- The only true bond is blood. Apparrently so.
- Mufasa means King. Now the real King of the pride land feels threatened.
- Since the king wants to kill him.
- Taka is the future king. His father is rigging the race. Knocks him over.
- Taka must earn the race win to be king.
- Mufasa is going to win though.
- How do you wine underwater?
- Taka and Mufasa can be brothers now.
- Obasi the king is mad.
- Mufasa won.
- Mufasa and Taka are going to get in trouble. Just like Simba and Nala.
- Taka has a huge ego. Like Simba in Lion King I
- They’re growing up in a timelapse.
- The old lions don’t like Mufasa. Obasi is still mad.
- Taka gets to be with the males because he is going to be King.
- Mufasa stays with the females, which seems like a better deal.
- Obasi protects the pride as he naps because that’s power.
- Mufasa and the ladies hunt.
- Mufasa is smart about what animals he is hunting without even seeing them.
- Eshe wants Mufasa to find his mom and dad.
- Mufasa is not expecting to be king.
- Timon and Pumbaa are reall really old. They did not kill Scar. I was there for it.
- I predict something terrible happens to Taka, causing Mufasa to have to be future king and Obasi won’t like that.
- Lion ambush
- Interesting how all the evil lions attacking them are all white.
- Does it really make up for the Nazi hyenas in the first one?
- If Obasi wasn’t napping, he would have known what was going on.
- Taka wants to hunt so bad.
- Mufasa saved Taka. Obasi will get along better with him hopefully.
- There is an evil Lion King of the white lions who is mad at one of his other lions because he left his son to die.
- Taka ran from them.
- The white lions want him back.
- Taka hand Mufasa have to leave. Obasi and Eshe and the pride can’t take on the white lions, so they have to protect the bloodline by sending them away.
- Mufasa and Taka are going to find Mufasa’s parents? May as well take the opportunity.
- Another classic lion fight to see who’s really King.
- Weird time to break into song.
- Bye Bye is the worst Lion King song.
- White lions found the Boys too.
- The white lions found Taka
- Mufasa meets Sarabi.
- Zazu shows up. Zazu is Sarabi’s friend originally.
- Sarabi always talking about food.\
- Rafiki is banned from the baboons because of visions.
- He ends up hanging out with Mufasa, Sarabi, Taka, and the other misfits.
- Rafiki misses his brother.
- They all want to go to Milele.
- Rafiki loves his dreams.
- Mufasa is afreaid of his dreams.
- Zazu with the morning reports. It starts.
- Rafiki is a Mandril.
- Mufasa wants to find his regular family still.
- So does Sarabi.
- Rafiki wants to find his brother.
- They don’t realize they’ve found family together yet.
- White lions still tracking.
- They know everything.
- Taka wants Sarabi.
- Mufasa gets Sarabi in the end though.
- It’ll be interesting to see how this comes about.
- They’re walking through the same gorge Mufasa eventually dies in. Creepy.
- Terrible pickup lines.
- White lions messing up migration patterns.
- Get the elephants to fight with Mufasa and co.?
- They seem reluctant.
- Bees cause elephant stampede which helps their situation.
- Mufasa saves Sarabi from death. Makes her like him.
- Even though Taka likes her.
- Makes sense.
- Taka probably becomes Scar because of this.
- Scar loved Sarabi too and was Mufasa’s brother.
- In Lion King I Scar killed Mufasa to be with Sarabi. Even if Sarabi was reluctant.
- This makes sense. For now it’s just my theory.
- Brothers fight eventually after all
- Snow in those mountains.
- Man alive.
- That would make Taka / Scar on of the King of the Outsiders / White Lions
- Mufasa and Sarabi are into eachother, Taka doesn’t like it.
- They’re going to have Simba soon.
- Mufasa confesses his love to Sarabi in song.
- Taka is going to hate him forever. The plot to kill Mufasa starts so early.
- Yeah it’s all happening in the same song.
- Taka hates Mufasa. Taka wants Sarabi so bad.
- Taka has decided that he and Mufasa are enemies and not brothers.
- Taka falls down a hill in a similar way that he falls to his own death at the end of Lion King I.
- Taka goes back to the White Lions to come after Mufasa.
- He tells them everything.

- Full allegience with white lions.
- But how does he get his nick name Scar?
- We don’t know yet.
- Taka the double agent.
- They all made it to Melele.
- Rafiki finds his favourite tree.
- Rafiki doesn’t have a twin anymore.
- Mufasa was the brother he was seeing all along and he was there.
- The white lions found them. They want Mufasa
- There’s going to be a showdown. Classic Lion King ending.
- Kiros is Taka / Scar’s father.
- Taka left a trail.
- Taka is officially mad at Mufasa over Sarabi.
- Mufasa allegedly stole Take’s destiny, Sarabi.
- Taka gets his nickname Scar from the trail of scars he let his real father follow.
- Taka will be Kyros’ adopted son.
- Mufasa unites all the animals.
- That’s why they all get along in the other movies.
- Fantastic use of time.
