Excellent performances from all involved. You can easily tell that this will be a franchise for years to come. Geoffrey Rush does such a good job at playing Barbosa that I forget he’s supposed to be the villain.
Jacks ship at the beginning reminds me of a leaky sailboat my family used to have. The only difference… ours would not sink! Styrofoam.
The only down part I could think of for this movie is that having an addiction to rum is probably not as much fun over the long haul as it is portrayed here. I’d be happy for people to disagree though.
