- I first saw this one a long time ago.
- Wouldn’t Javier need more than a work permit to work?
- They make getting a new job look easy.
- Solid group of guys to work with if you’re on that police force.
- I have no idea what it’s like to lose a daughter, even when it’s portrayed like that.
- It’s hard for pastors to say exactly the right thing at funerals.
- When I first watched this movie back in 2013, before I did “official” reviews, apparrently I had thoughts.
- I watched the movie “Courageous,” It’s a great movie that shows how men can be courageous in the way they lovingly lead their wives and family in the ways of God. It’s no easy job to raise a family to serve the Lord in a world where that just doesn’t seem to happen anymore….but that doesn’t mean it can’t.The following clip is my favourite part of the movie.

My greatest fear in life is that I may not be able to live up to this model as a man, by the grace of God I’ll have a chance, but for now I’m trying to figure out how to live courageously as a single person. How do you do that? The Apostle Paul was single and he got to travel all over the place. I like traveling a lot …but I’m not the best at it…and I live in a culture where if you’re single you’re supposed to travel all over the place. Makes me feel like I’m not that courageous. It’s a work in progress. I hope I can live up to the Biblical model of a man. I want to do whatever it is God wants me to do. Though sometimes that can be difficult to find out specifically when you’re single since He likes to reveal things in little pieces at a time.
- Probably that production company’s best movie.
