A friend and I had the privilage of doing music for an event called “Rez Worship” which is a weekly event held just for residence students at the university which I attend. It’s cool to see 50 + people passionately worshipting God! (They could easily be doing other things but they take time out for Him) You can tell they are passionate because some of them can’t sing, but they do it anway and that’s cool! Because as far as God is concerned it’s not about how good it sounds as long as your worship of Him is honest.
It is very good to have events like this on campus, especially during the writing of many papers. It’s good to be reminded that God is in complete control no matter how crazy one’s life may get.
