The truth is, it’s not a competition. In the churches I’ve been in there are proportionately more married people than single people. If you dig into scripture you’ll realize that there are good things about both being single and being married.
God can use anyone the way He chooses no matter what their marital status. There are things single people can learn from married people. The church needs both “types” of people involved on a regular basis.
