I was approached by a friend of mine last night asking weather I would play for his band’s chapel tomorrow. I am in one of the other bands that plays once every three weeks. I thought about it for a minute since I was already trying to memorize songs for my real band’s next chapel in a couple weeks. What’s 5 more songs? I agreed to help him out and we had one practice before we played live (which was this morning). I had played with a few of the guys before randomly and practice went alright…so did the live chapel in front of the student body. It felt good to be able to help them out. Take your opportunities where you can get them, otherwise you just might miss out on fun times.
