I’ve never seen them in concert before, but I’ve watched a lot of YouTube videos over the years.
Initial reactions are that the guitars are good. Chris is not heard as easily as I thought he would be in this day and age. They are outside though. The screens are nice. I must admit that I haven’t payed attention to them since Ghost Stories, so a lot of these songs will be new to me.
The audience can’t sing. That’s never the point of concerts. Three songs in and Chirs Martin is back on pitch.
What is it with everyone hating on the bass? Can’t hear it in the mix as well as other things.
I hope they play songs I know at some point. Oh wait, I’ve heard this one while grocery shopping recently. It’s weird that I had to wait til the end of the song to realize that I knew it though. Sick. They did paradise. The Scientist is may favourite old one. They did that. The crowd can sing on the old ones. Maybe I’m old too. Nice to know that everyone can still sing.
