Same thing as last chapter, but different place.
- The Atlantic Ocean is very big.
- Keflavic Airport in Iceland is my favourite airport in the world. Large print everywhere, and bathroom stall doors that go straight to the floor.
- It was very easy to get around London on the streets. They always tell ignorant people like me which way to look first.
- Tivoli Gardens was fun. Saw a play there and tried to figure out what was going on without knowing the language. Totally got the gist of it. Went to the washroom at the exact wrong time. Never saw a more dirty place in my whole life.
- Skipped out on seeing the Little Mermaid statue.
- Saw a bunch of interesting looking Churches.
- It was record rainfall the day I went to Oslo. At the beginning of the day it was sunny, so I was fooled into thinking I didn’t need a jacket. I was so soaked by the end of the day.
- Still went to some Viking museums.
- Berlin was interesting. Didn’t use any of the German I learned from Duolingo Went all around town. Highlights included, Berlin Wall, Brandenburg Gate, Holocaust Memorial, Book Burning Memorial, eating Schnitzel where it was intended.
- Estonia had lots of cool architecture. I was going up a set of stone steps, I didn’t realize the stone hallway turned abruptly at the top of the stairs. Straight ahead was nothing. I had one foot over the edge before I knew that I really had to turn left.
- Russia was interesting. This was before everything got crazy. Spent a whole day int the Hermitage, and spent the next day looking at historical places in St. Petersberg.
- Finland felt like home.
- In Sweden some guy got mad at me because he assumed I was stoned because I was wearing sunglasses.
