Here comes another list of all the Christmas traditions I can remember.
- Christmas Eve Service being the best one of the year, even though they are all great.
- Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer taped from TV on VHS, complete with scary 911, AIDS, Mormon, and Bill Cosby Jello Commercials.
- When we were little, my sisters would crash my room at 6:30am, until they realized they don’t need to get up that early.
- Everything starting at precicely 8:30am.
- Toccata and Fugue in D minor. Everyone else thinks this is a Halloween song, but it’s not.
- Writing letters to “Santa” the night before and having Dad respond to them and read everything on Christmas morning.
- Bacon dippers along with fantastic breakfast.
- Making the rest of the day last as long as possible.
- We are Cranberry sauce in the shape of the can people. Actually, I never eat it, but the rest of them do.
- Post Turkey crash.
- Looking at other folk’s lights on Boxing Day night.
If there’s more major ones I can always add them later.
