University was a time for sure. I went to a small Christian University in New Brunswick. Met a bunch of friends. There are a few that I still talk to now. Some I won’t. Ate a lot of late night snacks. Played a lot of Golden Eye, on the rare chance that I had spare time from studying and essays and the rest. I still wasn’t good at that game, even though I spent so much time playing it on my friend’s N64 when we were growing up. Learned how to eat really fast so that I could have max time for the things I was working on. Every day there would be chapel sessions where someone would speak. Every Tuesday was Worship Chapel and I was on one of the rotating bands that would play.
During the summers of these times I had three different jobs.
- 2007 Technology Department Summer Student at APSEA (A special school that helps blind, visually impaired, and deaf, hard of hearing students)
- 2008-2010 I worked at an Internet Cafe sort of place and got to help a lot of people.
- 2011 spent a summer working at Camp Pagweak. One of those summer camps where we do fun things AND tell the kids about Jesus.
In 2011 I finally graduated (totally on time) from my program. It was interdisciplinary, and when I would go on to take a Community College diploma in Library Information Technology, I was able to transfer a bunch of credits. In the end I ended up working for a small church in their office. Talk about needing to be well rounded.
