For the next three summers I worked at a place that would let people use computers for free. Specifically those who didn’t have internet access in their homes. Again, I got to work with great people. Again it felt like saving the world. We were giving these folks opportunities to chase their dreams like anyone else. Working together to make it all happen. My computer repair skills came in handy from my previous job too. We faced new challenges head on. Like the time the boss and I learned how to use a laminater for the first time. Now I know that the sheets of plastic go around the paper and are not produced by the machine itself. Every day felt important. Dong well in that first summer allowed me to come back for two more and we got to save the world together again.
