People can be afraid of a lot of different things, but some of them are pretty funny. Here’s a list of some of the funniest fears out there. These would not be funny for anyone who was afraid of the following things but the rest of us will learn something cool maybe.

Anatidaephobia – a pervasive, irrational fear that one is being watched by a duck. The anatidaephobic individual fears that no matter where they are or what they are doing, a duck is watching them.
Sphenisciadaeaphobia– Fear of Penguins (In General…not just when they’re watching you).
Acousticophobia- Fear of noise.
Arithmophobia- Fear of numbers
Arrhenphobia- Fear of men.
Anuptaphobia- Fear of staying single.
Aulophobia- Fear of flutes.
Aurophobia- Fear of gold.
Auroraphobia- Fear of Northern lights.
Autodysomophobia- Fear of one that has a vile odor.
Bufonophobia- Fear of toads.
Cacophobia- Fear of ugliness
Caligynephobia- Fear of beautiful women.
Cyberphobia- Fear of computers or working on a computer.
Ecclesiophobia- Fear of church
Ephebiphobia- Fear of teenagers.
Felinophobia- Fear of cats.
Gerontophobia- Fear of old people or of growing old.
Hedonophobia- Fear of feeling pleasure.
Hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia- Fear of long words. (How Ironic)
Ichthyophobia- Fear of fish.
Kyphophobia- Fear of stooping. (Bending over)
Lachanophobia- Fear of vegetables.
Lutraphobia- Fear of otters.
Macrophobia- Fear of long waits.
Mageirocophobia- Fear of cooking.
Myxophobia- Fear of slime
Nephophobia- Fear of clouds
Philemaphobia or Philematophobia- Fear of kissing.
Philophobia- Fear of falling in love or being in love.
Philosophobia- Fear of philosophy.
Phobophobia- Fear of phobias.
Pteronophobia- Fear of being tickled by feathers.
Rhypophobia- Fear of defecation. (#2, or varous other four letter words that mean the same thing)
Rhytiphobia- Fear of getting wrinkles.
Rupophobia- Fear of dirt.
Sophophobia- Fear of learning.
Tachophobia- Fear of speed.
Urophobia- Fear of urine or urinating.
Xanthophobia- Fear of the color yellow or the word yellow.
