Alright, let’s get this straight right off the bat. Women are gifts from God, they are his creation. (Men are also God’s creation, as is everything else that exists in this universe) God loves his creation. Because God loves his creation, he wants it to thrive. Yet for some stupid reason we still hear stories of husbands abusing their wives because apparently they have the authority to do that. Yes women are supposed to submit to their husbands, but not if their husbands are abusing them. Husbands are supposed to love their wives. GOD DID NOT GIVE YOU A WIFE SO YOU COULD HIT HER OR ABUSE HER SEXUALLY. Sex is supposed to be enjoyable for BOTH parties. God did not give you a wife so that she could look after the kids and you could go and have sexual relations with your neighbour. You are to honour, love and cherish your wife and remain faithful continually throughout your marriage so that your joy and hers might increase and the both of you can have a happy marriage.
