I just learned about this exciting project called WinBoat where they want to seamlessly run Windows programs in Linux. I wonder how seamless it is? Does It really work like they say it does here? It sounds really cool. I want to try it. Truth is I don’t hate Microsoft. Sure it would be nice if there were less things to slow it down later in life and less data mining, but that is the way of everything these days. Bridging the gap between software requirements on different OS’s is only going to make people want to use them more. This will now be the end of my Linux & Windows Happily Ever After series. 27 chapters is clearly enough. (His autobiography is way longer and growing by the day…not to mention that commentary). I am going to do a follow up series that is my less organized notes about continuing to learn Linux. Stay tuned for that. As if I didn’t have enough to write about already.
