There may be a place that keeps on calling you, but it’s certainly not down the road.
I was there for your birthday, but neglected the actual birthday card to go along with the Starbucks card I got you, because I know you like them even when you pay for them. Must be even better when it’s free.
It was a good time. As were all the other times. I guess I thought you would just throw it out, so that’s why I put so little effort into my physical cards. This one is on the internet, so it will probably be around for as long as I decide to keep my silly website up, or as long as my hosting provider decides to stay in business. So far so good on both of those things.
Sorry it was 46 days late, and that there’s nothing to fold…and that you had to remind me…
Today I learned that cards are more important than the present. At least to you.
