I don’t know a lot.
I don’t have the heritage or history.
I’m not sure why stuff turned out the way it did.
I don’t know what life was like in the 60s. Doesn’t seem like it was a good idea to take folks from their families to go to school far away. “Hey, we love Jesus, and we want you to love Him too. Let’s take you away from your parents so you can learn more about Him but your parents can’t. None of that makes a whole lot of sense. They could have been just as smart in their hometowns, that’s for sure. Then there’s the murdering, when we’re not supposed to do that. Commandment 6.
On the other hand, how do you fix something like that when the people they need apologies and everything else from, who started the whole thing, are long dead? How do you move off stolen land when everywhere else is full up? Is the holiday really doing what it’s supposed to? I have no clue.
