Canada is on it’s way to another election. The signs and slander are all out in full force. There’s so much pressure on everyone involved…and I sit here and wonder…. why?
Since the previous election the opposition sits and complains about the party in power and the decisions that are being made, claiming that if their particular party had been in power apparently things would have been much better.
In reality the other two would just complain about him in a mere role reversal without thinking about how much pressure there is to be the party running the country.
Let’s face it, as the ruling party you are responsible for running Canada the best way they can with the resources they have available to them. They also have the unenviable task of keeping everyone happy. In a country with roughly 35,749,600 people (2015 census results from Wikipedia) all with different points of view, that task is impossible. No matter what decisions are being made some large group of the general population will be upset and post negative things on Facebook for all of their “friends” to see.
At this I wonder what are these people who post these things trying to accomplish by going on political rants on Facebook. All it shows the rest of us is that they really like complaining about stuff.
What they have to remember is that everyone in politics are humans just like the rest of us. No party or politician is a perfect superhero. The ruling party is making tough decisions so that the rest of us don’t have to worry about it.
In the end, vote for whoever you want…just remember that they like you are imperfect humans who could use a break from time to time.
