They used to be all over the place. Rogers, Blockbuster. Video stores in every town, everywhere. People would wander in and pay a small fee to rent videos (or DVDs in later years) for 2 nights or a week and then they would go home and enjoy them with their families and friends. This is soon to become a thing of the past with the rise of NetFlix and the fall of Blockbuster and soon Rogers Video (They will have to close 40% of their stores apparently). Soon, manually renting videos and DVDs will no longer exist as you will be able to just download everything.
It’s not necessarily a bad thing…just a thought to ponder.
