TMH Chapter 29: Breakfast Confessions

Breakfast.  The most important meal of the day.  I’ve had a lot of them by now.  My first memories of breakfast was oatmeal, which I never put anything on and always ate plain.  It was pretty boring, but as it turns out, that was all my fault.  Then I discovered cereal.  Cinnamon Toast Crunch is my all time favourite, although these days I eat a lot of Shreddies and Cheerios.  Sugar Crisp is the worst of all cereals.  My dad was trying to keep me from harm on that one, but I had to learn the hard way.  I never finished that box.  After cereal, I discovered Pop Tarts.  My favourite flavours were the chocolate and S’more ones.  I always wondered how mom and dad would let me get away with that sort of thing for breakfast, but I wasn’t going to complain.  I haven’t had a pop tart in years because the last one I made…caused a fire in the toaster.  I texted dad about it so I wouldn’t have to yell and the whole toaster ended up in the snowbank outside.  Cinnamon buns and scrambled eggs were a Sunday Morning breakfast staple growing up, even to this day.  When my grandma was still alive it was really fun making cinamon buns with her when she and grandpa would come out to visit.

Sausages have been a good time as of lately.

I don’t know if I had a point in all of this.  Food is good.
