Ever since I discovered it, I’ve really enjoyed pop…or soda for you Americans. The only flavours I am not into are Cream Soda and Dr. Pepper. As for the Coca Cola / Pepsi debate. Pepsi tastes like disappointment every time, in the way that I could have had coke. Hoever, it is not as disappointing as the other two. From the burping contest at my tenth birthday party, to the time I discovered that you could get free refills at restaurants, I’ve always enjoyed it. Except for the times when I discovered that I had a limit and ended up throwing up in bathroons or parking lots after three big glasses. Then people would ask “are you ok?” I would accidentally lie to them and say, “yeah.” while I threw up a second time.
I should also point out that I really like regular water a lot, not to mention the other regular drinks, like juice and milk, that are actually healthy for you. So you don’t think I’m insane. What I haven’t been able to get behind is the “Flavoured Carbonated Water” thing. I’ve tried twice so far. One was orange, the other was lemon. I didn’t taste any of the advertised things. I finished both of them because I’m stubborn like that. All I could taste was carbon, and the metal of the can. Similarly to when I drink V8, all I taste is salt. I’m not getting what other people get out of the experience. Regular water is much more tasty to me.
