If I was going to have a spy agency that was different than any other spy agency, the rules had to be different. Bulleted lists are not common in prose, but I’m sticking it in here anyway. It’s my book after all.
- Blend In
- Break Out
- Be Better
- No suits
- No James Bonds
- Nothing terribly fancy, except my trade secret teleportation.
- Use your surroundings.
- Be creative
- Do not underestimate anything
- Use maximum surprise
- Kill as a last resort. We learn more from people when they are alive.
- Dress in character and embrace it.
- Don’t be afraid to just drop in
- Be a ghost if you can. Even in plain sight.
- Operatives will be trained in everything they need.
- The more average and unassuming you are at the start, the more help you will be to the company.
That was the basic idea. If I could write the whole book in a bulleted list, I would. Someone would surely smack me upside the head though.
