W3 Chapter 4: The Hiring Process

I swiftly hired boring, yet extremely competent administrative and human resource people.  I hired trainers for any sort of situation that may come up.  Some operatives came over with me from my previous employer, but others I wanted to hire fresh, so the trainers would have something to do.

To get the kind of people I wanted, I had to start in the most unassuming of places, gathering people from all walks of life.

One day in a subway station I encountered a man who’s whole life purpose was to sell tokens to people so they could get to destinations.  It appeared that nothing ever changed for him.  He was dull and also perfect.  So I went and changed his life for him.  Actually, it was a team effort, because Kory could have ignored me.  He was great to train.  Fantastic in missions so far.  He makes my job as “Guy in the Chair”  Mission Coordinator so much more fun than it would have been at my old employer.  Then again, maybe it’s just great to be your own boss.
