- #21 Ryan Blaney. He has motivation, he won here in the spring, and his next win brings 100 wins to the Wood Brothers’ Racing teeam.
- #24 Chase Elliot. He was very close to his first win in the Cup series here last spring.
- #42 Kyle Larson. His major sponsor Target is not re-signing next season. Look for him to run up front and win as much as possible in the next few months in order to attract more sponsorship.

- #78 Martin Truex Jr. Will his pit crew suspensions cause him grief?
- #5 Kasey Kahne. Was last week’s win a fluke, or is he for real? Either way it must be nice to snap a winless streak like that. He has momentum now.
